Enclosed please find copy of case paper which was sent to Mrs. Clutton of Reigate, and forwarded to Miss at Manchester where she resides. I beg to inform you on her behalf that I have made application for a birth certificate to Southampton, but unfortunately they are unable to send me one as they cannot trace anything in their registers. The Register (Mr. Hunt) tells me their is no registered on that date, or of anyone having been born at the said address, and cannot trace the entry on any other date about
