Case 2835

7. Letter from Revd Burrows 19 October 1895

View the Case Summary.

breakfast early as the foreman was very busy & wanted him to help him. So he put some of his things in a parcel before any one was up & went off, & it was not known till a couple of hours afterward. Then Mrs. P came to me but on questioning the other boy it was clear A had intended to go home, where you will probably find him (I have given the address above.) The real fact is that the friends of the boys are only too glad to have them provided for when they earn no money, & directly they can, they want them at home to bring in something for themselves.
