that if you would kindly write to the head of the firm where your magazine is printed (Botolph Press, Gate St., Kingsway W.C.), explaining the reason of my leaving Oxford, (owing to the damp of district) I may secure a permanent berth as a Reader. Your letter would have weight.

Meanwhile your suggestion to envelope addressing will help to make our five pounds last a little longer.
