13th January, 1930.
S.P.H.
Dear Miss Saunders,
Mrs. Rudolf has sent me your letter to her of the 8th inst. and enclosures with reference to J. I am sorry to hear of his troubles. I also heard from him at the beginning of this month and have asked him what particular kind of work he has in view. When I hear from him I shall be very pleased to see if there is any way in which I can help him. I rather wonder whether he is strong enough to do more than he is at present, without causing his health to suffer. I understand that you would like to have his letters again, so I am returning them herewith.
Believe me,
Yours sincerely,
