I regret owing to pressure of work your letter re J. has not had any attention before.

This poor man is suffering from Pulmonary Tuberculous in an advanced & acute stage & I fear he is unlikely to last very long an possibility of Sanatorium treatment has been out of the question in his case and I do not think he could have in any way benefit by such treatment in any stage of this illness.
