Dear Madam
re F

I am very much obliged to you for your letter of yesterday's date, but regret to learn that there is but little improvement in the above girl's condition. It seems very improbable that she will ever be quite compos mentis, but, in the unlikely event of her being so, we must then consider as to her future. I am afraid, as much as I regret it, the case is one that will inevitably have to be dealt with by the Poor Law authorities, as it seems very clear that the poor girl is more or less of weak intellect.
Thanking you for all your kind interest in the case
Believe me

Yours very truly
E de M Rudolf

Miss G. Scott
