February 14th, 1889

Rev & Dear Sir,

I am indeed sorry to learn from your letter of yesterday's date that you think it desirable for the two boys -- and -- to be removed from their present home. Under the circumstances, I shall be much obliged if you will kindly give the foster mother the usual month's notice, and in the meantime, I will endeavour to find them suitable homes elsewhere. Will you, therefore, be so good as to see to this, and I will write to you again as to the day and time the boys may be sent to London.

Yours faithfully
Esq. E de M R

The Rev. W.D. Lawson
