View the Case Summary.

The father of these children is said to be a Dentist practicing in India. Some years ago the mother & children came to England the children being placed in a School at Camberwell. The father owes more than £200 for their education. They left the School about two years ago & have been living with their mother who is a lady of intemperate habits & there is every reason to believe she is also immoral. A Mr. Langdale, licenced Victualler of Southgate Road who is no relation has been helping the family from time to time and is prepared to pay for the maintenance of the children in the Homes. The father has not been heard of for a considerable time & his present address in India is not known.
