wanted me to do the washing. But my late Mistress was very kind to me and gave me a good character for this place, I have had two letter's from my mistress since I have been here, This place where I am now, is a boarding house, their are seven of us. I am a kitchen maid, and Miss M., (that is my mistresses name) is very nice, I have been here a month today. Dear Sir, I hope I am not putting myself forward in writing to you,
