March 29th 1901

Dear Mr Davies,

G & H --

At the suggestion of Mrs --, Ness, Neston, Cheshire, the lady who was instrumental in bringing the case of the above boys to the Society's notice, it has been decided to return them to their grandmother, Mrs B, Green's Cottages, Aigburth Vale, Liverpool, as soon as arrangements can be made to send them. As to their journey, Mrs -- writes as follows:-

"I presume the boys would be sent to B'head terminus, cross the Mersey, and the from the Pier Head they must ask for and electric car to Paradise Street, change there and ask for another electric car to Aigburth Vale, and ask the conductor to put them down as near as he can to Green's Cottages."

I am afraid you will think me very troublesome, but will you very kindly write Mrs --, who is expecting the boys, as to the day and time she may expect them; either she or the boys' sister will meet them.

Yours very truly,
(sgd) E. de M. R.
