Mrs --, and subsequently her husband and mother backed her up, so I know it is useless my returning to the charge.

My sister has no confidence in a man who has only left off drinking for 3 months and is like a wild thing when he is in drink, and she thinks his good intentions to do his best wd break down and he wd so to speak throw the step-children in the mother's face if he found them a burden. She suggests --.
