His mothers [care] [?] when in good health at £20 a year but for two years past from having had very hard places with invalids where hard work lifting was required She has injured herself internally & been obliged to go under an operation at [Mouras'] Hospital she is [now] better & able to take a situation but the doctors say her health is so uncertain & that she will never really be strong or able to [?] [?] high wages. She is now paying 7/ a week whc she [finds] almost impossible [due] the state of health [?] the future she has [?-tting] [certain] to look forward to She is very fond of the child if the Committee could take the child at a reduction Say 3/; or 3/6 a week I am quite sure they wd find her regular in her payments & quite [sure]
