Case 49

1. Application to Waifs and Strays' Society 3 June 1882

View the Case Summary.

The description on the other side speaks for itself. The case is real in the hope that it may be possible to get the child in to an orphanage. I have never come across a more deserving case. If anything could be done for the other children it would be helpful. They are a most respectable family. The North London Company [sent] 20£ at A. death on this the children are living now. We are anxious to keep as much of this as possible for the children's fathers benefit. They are [at present] in charge of an aunt, who left the situation some two or three weeks ago to nurse her sister.
