Case 5505

8. Letter from St Faith's Home 29 August 1905

View the Case Summary.

at [?] maid wages £8 a year. We have had several girls with this lady & it is a very good start for them as there are old servants who look after them

The matron will be going for her holiday next month, & therefore it would be better that the vacancy should not be filled till her return - Our new assistant is so capable that she can take charge during Miss Burton's absence which is a great convenience

yours truly
Mary Phillpotts
