9th, December 1904.

Dear Madam,
G.

Seeing that you were instrumental in bringing the case of the above boy to the Society's notice in March '97, I now beg to enclose copy of a letter I have this morning received from his mother, from which you will observe that she is now anxious to have him home. Before complying with Mrs. request, may I venture to ask if you can kindly visit the woman and let me have a report of the same. On referring to the lad's papers I see he will be fifteen years of age in July next, so that he would probably be of some assistance to his mother now.
Awaiting your reply,

Yours faithfully,
Miss W.
