Dear Madam,

Re J

I am sorry to learn from your letter that you are unable to trace the relatives of the above lad. It is just possible that he might be taught to work with his hands so as to help maintain himself, but unfortunately the Society has no Home suitable for him. In these circumstances, perhaps you can arrange for his reception into the Earlswood Asylum, Redhill, in which Institution boys afflicted like the one in question are trained.

I shall be happy to give you any further information you may require, and I hope it may be convenient for you to arrange for the boy's removal from Burgess Hill as soon as possible.

Yours very truly
E. de M. Rudolf

Miss Frances S. Williams
