C/V/D 22nd February, 1908.

Dear Mrs [ ],

With reference to your call at this office yesterday, if you can kindly find a farmer willing to take the above boy, the Society will, if absolutely necessary, be responsible for a payment of 2/6 a week for one year, towards his maintenance. The lady interested in the case is, I know, unable to pay anything, and as the lad has been under the care of the Society for a considerable period, I hope even now it may be possible to find him a situation without this payment. I presume in any case, at the end of twelve months the boy would be able to earn a little at farm work?

Believe me
Yours sincerely,
E. de M. Rudolf
G.H.D
