Girls' Welfare.
20th August, 1941.

Dear Mrs. B,
Re A.

We have just had a letter from the Honorary Secretary of the Committee of the National Council of Social Service, 26 Bedford Square, London, W.C.1. They have been collecting information about Homes for some time, and find, unfortunately that those which charge under £2 per week, are almost invariably full.

They would like to know exactly how much A can pay. We might possibly be able to get a grand for her from her Public Assistance Committee. We will go no further into the matter until we hear from you again.

Yours sincerely,
AHP
Girls' Welfare Department.

Mrs. B,
Mount Road,
Cranleigh.
Surrey
