26th August, 1903

Dear Miss Snowden,
In reply to your letters of the 23rd & 24th insts. I think the best arrangement would be for B to be admitted into the Society's Home at Clapham, which is especially intended for girls out of service. This would make a vacancy for the girl [?] from Alphington. I shall be much obliged, therefore, if you will have the girl sent to London on Tuesday next by the train leaving Exeter at 1.0 due to arrive at Waterloo at 32.30 where she will be met on arrival. in the meantime I shall be glad if you will communicate with the lady interested in the girl [?] and make arrangements for her to be received. [?] will not be sent to you until the 14th September and perhaps by that time you may have a girl whom you can send to service, or transfer to another Home. I do not think we need trouble, in these circumstances, to get two extra beds as you suggest.
