22nd, April, 1899

Dear Madam,

I am much obliged to you for your letter and for so kindly writing to me in respect of the girl A. It is most gratifying to hear such a satisfactory account of her, and I trust that she will continue to do well so that in a measure she may repay you for all your kindness. It is always a pleasure to hear from the Society's girls who have been placed out and who are doing well.

Believe me,
Yours very truly
Signature
Mrs. B
