Dear Madam,

I was very interested indeed to receive your letter of December 3rd informing me that A is still with you after all these years. Personally I cannot call to mind any other of our 'old girls' who have remained with one family for so long a period and I am sure that Prebendary Rudolf will be very interested to hear that she is still with you and also very proud of her. I will certainly let him know at once.

As we always like to hear from those who have been under the Society's care I should be very glad indeed if A would write to me and I would promise to see that she is written to regularly if she would like us to do so. We have a League of the Society's "Old Girls" known as "Our Girls'
