I have to thank you for your letter, and note that your Board are [?] sanction the return of the above boy to his mother on condition that the necessary arrangements are made by the relatives. I note you have written to his Step-father to this effect and have asked him to communicate with me.

I have to-day written to the Hon. Secretaries of the Homes where these two children are and have asked them to see that the clothes referred to are returned.
