I have to thank you for your letter respecting this child's baptism. I also note what you [say as to] publishing the gifts of the name in the Magazine.

I am very sorry to hear about this girl, and have today written to her Mistress to the effect that, as a temporary measure, she had better be sent to the Society's Home for Girls Out of Situations, Clapham, on leaving her present place. I am also writing to the Clerk of the Cannock Union respecting the girl.
