Dear Madam,

re.

I am in receipt of your letter respecting this girl, and if she succeeds in obtaining another situation by the date mentioned, it would be well, I think, if she were to go direct and not send her to London as previously suggested. Should, however, the girl not find another place, will you please let me know by what train she will travel on Monday next, and her destination, Then I will gladly have her met and taken charge of. I understand the authorities at Penkridge are not desirous that she should return to the Home, so that should she hear of a suitable situation and has to wait a week or so for it, she had better come to London.
