I have to thank you for your letter, from which I am pleased to note your Committee decided to admit the former of the above boys at once and "[?]" when he is 13 1/2 (in December) I am asking the Hon. Secretary of the Society's Tattenhall Home to see that "[?]" is sent direct and to be sure and let you know beforehand as to the day and hour to expect him. Thank you very much for the information respecting the fire-hose and for letting me see the enclosed letter from Messrs. Callas Sons [?] May Ltd.

I also note what you say as to these two boys and shall be pleased to see you with reference to the latter on Wednesday next at 12.30. As regards "[?]" I almost think it would be well to return him to his mother, but I think we must [?] communicate with the clergyman who was instrumental in bringing the case to our notice asking his opinion on the matter.
