4. Report on A. 26 July 1906

View the Case Summary.

Liverpool
July 26th, 1906

A & E
A is a tubercular child whose leg has been amputated. She is now apparently well & strong and all wounds have healed. Her intellect is not very bright so that she would not do to apprentice as an ordinary girl. At present she goes to school 4 days a week & helps in the laundry two days with ironing. I should think if she could have a false leg when she was finished growing that she might well earn her living at ironing, but I don't know about washing at present she has crutches she might also do stocking knitting or anything
