To Miss Lloyd [Lees] S. Saviour's Home who has supplied case papers for Executive Committees

Dear Madam

I have been advised to apply to you about a case we have in our refuge here. A child of 12 A., was sent to us by the Ladies' Assoc. Lowestoft. sad to say she had been leading a most immoral life, & it was most necessary to get her away from the home. she has been with us now nearly 2 months and being such a child in mind in many respects, we feel that it is not good for her to be any longer with the older girls in the Refuge. Her father has been paying us 2/- a wk. for her & no doubt he would continue this elsewhere. The poor child was got hold of by some bad man, & after a time her parents could not keep her at home, as when locked up she even managed to get out of the window. She is very small for her age & is I should fear stunted. Would it be possible for you to receive her? She has not been at all troublesome with us and I do feel most anxious for her now to be placed in a suitable Home poor child.

I am
yours truly
Sister Laura
