Dear Madam,
re A.

"The Committee will be pleased to accept the above girl for the Society's St. Saviour's Home at Shrewsbury, but is of opinion that the father should contribute more than 2/- a week towards her support."

I shall be glad to hear from you whether the Father cannot be persuaded to contribute more than 2/- a week towards his daughter's support, and also whether it is not possible to raise something in the neighbourhood in aid of the case. Perhaps you will kindly let me hear from you in due course.
