8th June, 1905

My Lord,
With references to my interview with your Lordship, I have now the pleasure to inform you that two boys of the name of T and T, aged respectively eleven and twelve, and at the present time inmates of the Society's Home at Cambridge, have been specially recommended as suitable inmates for the Home which your Lordship is about to open. I am given to understand that boys are of excellent character, and are such as would set a good example to those with whom they have to associate. Perhaps, therefore, your Lordship will kindly let me hear in due course when it will be convenient for the boys to be received, and I will then arrange accordingly?
I beg to remain,
Your Lordship's obedient servant,
sgd. E. de M.R.

The Rt. Hon.
The Earl of Sandwich
