17th July, 1905

Dear Lord Sandwich,
I am in receipt of your Lordship's letter of the 15th inst. from which I note that you have now engaged a Matron. Do you think one of the applicants whose letters I enclose would be suitable to take the position of Assistant? Perhaps your Lordship will kindly favour me with your opinion, and return the enclosures with your reply? As regards the two boys T and T, now in the Society's Home at Cambridge, I will give instructions for them to be sent to Huntingdon on Thursday the 27th inst., as desired, and will request the authorities to let you know by what train they will arrive.
I beg to remain,
Your Lordship's obedient servant,
E de MR
