At time of marriage, 1888 German Field Artillery transferred the same year [?] Army Service [?] Rescue in 1889/ Recalled [?] in 1899. Served in S. Africa from Mch. 1900 to June 1902 was discharged in July 1902 on examination of his engagement.

Mother & three elder children in Union Workhouse for a short time before the boy referred to here was born
