July 30th, 1904

Dear Sir,
re C

I am very sorry to hear such an unsatisfactory account of this boy and can only think the best step to take would be to transfer him in a Home where there is a Master, as he evidently requires a man's supervision. On looking at the boy's case paper I see he was 11 years old last March, so that I certainly think he should be transferred to one of our Homes for older boys. Under the circumstances I will make enquiries and hope to write to you again in due course letting you know to which Home the boy can be transferred.
I remain,

Yours faithfully
Sgd. E de M R
Rev. E Smith
