I am wondering whether the Society could in any way advance the money (or part of it anyway) to --, for this purpose? or if there is any other way you can suggest, I am anxious to help the lad in the matter if I possible can. I suppose my 1911 monies would not go to a thing of this sort? the lad is anxious to get on so I think any help of this sort would be appreciated by him & of course he is only earning just pocket money at present. Hoping you won't mind my troubling you in this way
