13th March, 1911.

C/F.C.
Dear Mr. Stevens,
re A.

Enclosed I send you a copy of a letter that I have this morning received from Miss Peter, the Society's Hon. Local Secretary at Holsworthy, regarding the above named lad. Will you please let me have your opinion as to his being supplied with a cork leg, as suggested, in place of the present wooden leg? I have asked Miss Peter to ascertain what the cost would be, and it has occurred to me that possibly the Devizes Guardians might be prepared to assist in the matter. How long has A. had his present wooden leg?

As I am writing, I think perhaps you may like to see the enclosed copy of a letter that I recently received from the Clerk of the Devizes Guardians, respecting the case.

Yours faithfully,
E de M Rudolf

Mr. J. G. Stevens,
Islington.
