I was hoping to be able to obtain the cork leg without troubling your Board, inasmuch as you paid 30/- for a bucket leg for the lad only a year ago, but unfortunately the Surgical Aid "Letters" are very difficult to secure.

I am pleased to say that from all accounts A. is making very satisfactory progress in his situation, and the local Doctor is of opinion that a proper cork leg will be very beneficial for his spine.
