I brought your letter of the 10th. instant enquiring whether this Board would contribute the sum of £2. 10. 0. towards the sum of £7. 10. 0. being the cost of a special cork leg required by this lad, before the Guardians at their meeting yesterday when after some discussion the Board resolved to contribute this amount towards that object.

If, therefore, you will obtain the necessary article and forward me an account for one-third the cost thereof accompanied by the original receipted account for the full amount (for satisfying the District Auditor) I will obtain the Guardians cheque and send you same in due course.
