4th July, 1911.

C/F.C.
Dear Sir,
re A.

Referring to your kind letter of the 24th May last, conveying your Board's decision to contribute the sum of £2.10/- towards the £7.10/- required for the cost of the above named lad's special cork leg, I have the pleasure in sending herewith the receipt of the Surgical Aid Society for £3.15/-, being half the cost, the remaining half being paid by means of "Letters" obtained by the Society. I shall now be glad to receive your Board's cheque for £22.10/- in due course.

I shall be much obliged if you will bear in mind to return the Surgical Aid Society's receipt so soon as it has been examined by your District Auditor, as it will be required for exhibition to our Auditor in due course.

The cork leg has already been supplied to the boy and is quite satisfactory.

Yours faithfully,
E de M. Rudolf

The Clerk to the Guardians,
Devizes Union.
