Adverting to your letter of the 4th. instant enclosing the Surgical Aid Societies voucher for £3 15 0 being half of the cost of supplying this lad with a Special Cork Leg. I now beg to enclose a cheque for £2 10 0 being my Board's contribution towards the cost thereof.

In due course please forward me your receipt for same on the enclosed form.

I will of course return to you the Surgical Aid Society's Voucher for the above payment of £3. 15. 0 but this may not be for a long time yet as my Board's contribution will be included in the Accounts of this Union for the Half-year ending 30th. September next the audit of which accounts may not take place until the Spring of next year however as soon as this is complete, whatever date it is, the Voucher for the £3. 15. 0 shall
