Dear Miss Stancliffe
re L

I have to thank you for your letter of the 28th inst. from which I am indeed pleased to learn that you have the cost of this girl's maintenance in a special Home for the feeble-minded. I know it must have caused you a great deal of time and trouble to arrange this so satisfactorily, and I am most grateful for all your untiring efforts on the poor child's behalf. I gather that it is the Wakefield Guardians who have undertaken the case, and that when she leaves our care the Society will not be in any way responsible for the girl's future. I shall be anxious to hear in due course the exact date L leaves St. Agnes', and also the name and address of the Home in which she is placed.
With renewed thanks for all your kindness
Believe me,

Yours Sincerely
E de M R
