Imagine twinkling fairy lights, candles, streamers and brightly coloured bunting, trees decorated with shiny glass baubles and popcorn strings lightly hanging from branch to branch. This was the scene each Christmas at the Newchurch Home. The local community would line the streets and sing carols and the whole village would be decorated.
