Description:
St George's was one of the five homes in the Liverpool Diocese in 1908. The others were the Victoria Home in Formby, Elm Lodge in Seaforth, Scholfield Home in Wavertree, and the Bradstock Lockett Hospital Home And School Of Recovery, Southport. Dioceses would co-ordinate all fundraising for the homes through the churches in the area.
