Illness and disability: The Stoop Ward at St Nicholas' Home

<p>Not a thing on the floor! Tidiness was important to all of the Society's Homes, especially those for disabled children. If not accidents could occur.</p><p>This ward at St Nicholas' was for those children who had a 'stoop' - or who could not stand up straight and had difficulty walking because they were born with something wrong with their spines.</p>
