Dear Mr. Fowle,

Will you please attend to the enclosed. It was sent to me this morning by Rev. J.G. Grove Vicar of Faversham. Hope you will do the best you can.

Another thing you [way], and will interest you. I was at Horsham on Sunday, and a Mrs. -- S. Leonard Rd Moreham came to me after the evening sermon and told me he adopted a girl from you about 25 years ago that she never caused the a minute of trouble was a good girl etc. and now was married and had 2 children. I asked her name and present address & told her you would like to know at Head Office and am sending it to you for your archives.

F came from Wales, Now Mrs. H Station Rd Carshallow.

I have just been asked to act as "Special Constable." In fact I was proposed as Chief Sp. Constable down here in place of the [?] who is resigning, but if we thought as I was so often away I wouldn't be able to take on so they have just [?] special, not [bad] after wanting me shot.
