I am very sorry if I used the word "boy" in enclosing my cheque for the --. I meant the [?] of the girls I must have been absently thinking of a work house boy in whom I had been interesting myself quite lately. My meaning was that I was dismayed [?] the £5 was accepted to help the youngest child for whom immediate aid was really not nearly so necessary as for her Sister. We [?]
