Case 2434

13. Letter from Miss Whitlock 5 January 1905

View the Case Summary.

Mrs. M has kindly promised £2 a year & my mother, Mrs. Whittlock will give £5 or even £8.12 which would leave £5 still to make up . Could you help us with this £5 for the three years? The clothing might, I think be left to A's relations, as they would not have her to keep, & I think we could help to get her started with an outfit. I have approached the Board of Guardians & have not yet heard from them, but I was at once told that there was very little chance of their helping the case.

Believe me, yours faithfully
Isabel F. Whitlock
(Miss Whitlock)
