I am writing to you hoping you may be able to help me in the matter of an old servant (63) who was for years in my mothers service, & has recently been with me. Her only relatives are brothers who cannot offer her a home, & suggest that she should go to the Infirmary in this neighbourhood. I should like to get her into a Waif & Stray Home where I know she would be happy, for she was for many years at St Agnes Home Croydon & later as laundry made for 10 years at St. [Nicholas Byfleet] & has very happy recollection of both.
